Kathleen Blouin, NBAA senior vice president of conventions and forums, stepped down from her position yesterday but will continue serving as a consultant to the association. Blouin, who joined NBAA in 1992, was instrumental in helping build the annual NBAA convention into one of the five largest trade shows in the U.S. as well as launching the EBACE, LABACE and ABACE shows in Geneva, São Paulo and Shanghai. “Kathleen was instrumental in the creation and development of the largest business aviation events on four continents, which have advanced the industry’s interests,” said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “It is a breathtaking record of accomplishment, and for those of us fortunate enough to be in this industry, Kathleen has, quite literally, changed the world.”
