World Fuel Services’ FlyBuys Rewards program offers incentives to schedulers, dispatchers and entire flight departments, not just pilots like other business and general aviation loyalty programs do. To emphasize this fact, the global fuel logistics company is promoting its loyalty program this week at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference, where attendees can get 1,000 bonus points just for signing up for FlyBuys Rewards, as well as enter to win a Bose music sound system, an iPad and an iTunes gift card.
FlyBuys Rewards is accepted at some 7,600 locations in more than 58 countries, where members are able to join the program to begin earning points and redeeming FlyBuys points for rewards. Members simply link their Avcard or World Fuel Services/Alliance contract fuel account to automatically accrue points, which can then be used to purchase merchandise and gift cards. In addition, participating FBOs and merchants located within the eligible countries can also offer bonus FlyBuys Rewards points at their discretion as fuel-uplift incentives and promotions to reward customer loyalty.
To further accelerate points accumulation, linked Avcard purchases multiply FlyBuys Rewards two times faster at an FBO within the World Fuel Services Network and four times faster at Air Elite Diamond Service FBO locations. Avcard transactions that earn FlyBuys Rewards include fuel purchases, aircraft maintenance, charter flights, pilot training and other ancillary services.
According to World Fuel Services, the most popular rewards being redeemed by schedulers and dispatchers are department store, restaurant and spa gift cards, travel certificates for cruises and airfare and World Fuel Services invoice credits.
