<p>Mark Huber is an aviation industry veteran who has worked in the flight training, aircraft sales, aircraft component, and airport development businesses. He has flight time in more than 50 different and diverse aircraft, including helicopters, aerobatic aircraft, vintage warbirds, jet fighters, business jets and turboprops, and transport-category aircraft. He has jumped out of several of these—on purpose—with a parachute. His defense and aviation journalism has been published in a variety of national and international periodicals.</p>

<p>UK prime minister David Cameron helped celebrate the opening of Bombardier’s new wing manufacturing plant in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on October 11. The new 600,000-sq-ft facility will manufacture the carbon-fiber composite wing for Bombardier’s new single-aisle CSeries airliner and will add 250 jobs to Bombardier’s existing payroll of 6,000 in Northern Ireland. Bombardier already has added 1,000 new jobs there over the last two years. More than 200 UK companies are part of the CSeries supply chain.  </p>
