A Hawker 400 was substantially damaged when it slid off the 4,696-foot runway at Georgia’s Macon Downtown Airport on September 18, apparently as a result of hydroplaning. Three people on board sustained minor injuries. According to local press reports, the business jet went over an embankment, crossed a road and eventually stopped in a wooded area.
