NASM Director Honored by Wings Club

New York City’s Wings Club has recognized General John R. “Jack” Dailey (USMC Ret.), as the recipient of its 2012 Distinguished Achievement Award, which acknowledges outstanding accomplishments in the field of aviation. Dailey, a retired U.S. Marine Corps general, assistant commandant and pilot as well as former NASA associate deputy administrator, became the director of the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in January 2000. He will receive the award on October 26 at the club’s annual gala.
