Interiors and MRO Show To Open in Dubai

The Aircraft Interiors and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Exhibition Middle East is scheduled to open January 31 at the Dubai Airport Expo. Event organizers, F&E Aerospace and Aviation Week, are expecting more than 2,500 visitors.

The show will open with a seminar devoted to the workforce and training in the Middle East, featuring keynote speaker Abdul Wahab Teffaha, secretary general of the Arab Air Carriers Organization.

Running concurrently and at the same venue will be the third annual Aircraft Interiors Middle East show, a two-day event that begins February 1.

In its promotion of the interiors show, F&E Aerospace noted a demographics shift reported by market analysts Frost & Sullivan. The study highlighted the fact that “Middle Eastern, Chinese and Indian markets will together comprise 27.3 percent of global demand for cabin interiors by 2020 [in comparison with] Western Europe and North America, which are gradually losing their positions as the most important cabin interior markets.”
