Jet Aviation Basel will continue to provide completions for the Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) family, following yesterday’s signing of a five-year agreement between the two companies covering completions services, interior design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and certification.

The new agreement sets the foundation for the future and will result in “increased employment and jobs,” according to Peter Edwards (center), president of the Jet Aviation Group (Booth No. 7090).

Arnaud Martin (second from left), Airbus vice president of corporate jet and VIP programs, echoed those thoughts: “[The agreement] will bring more business to Switzerland, benefitting the economy and helping to safeguard jobs,” he said. Jet Aviation has completed 10 projects for Airbus (Booth No. 7081). The OEM is expected to deliver another 16 aircraft this year, one of which will be sent to Basel center. The airplane, an A340-600, belongs to an undisclosed private customer.
