Jet Aviation Hong Kong has received joint maintenance management approval from the Civil Aviation Administrations of China and Macau to work on aircraft registered by those respective authorities in Hong Kong. The facility, which recently won designation as an U.S. Federal Aviation Administration repair station, also has achieved approval by the Hong Kong and Cayman Island authorities during the past year. The approvals allow it to perform maintenance, airframe and engine repairs and avionics work on U.S.-registered aircraft, as well as scheduled maintenance work, line maintenance and AOG support for Hong Kong and Cayman Islands-registered equipment.

Meanwhile, Jet Aviation has added a number of new business aircraft to its Asia-Pacific managed fleet, including a Gulfstream G200 based in Taiwan. The company has announced that transaction here at the Singapore Airshow, as well as the addition of a new Gulfstream G550 to its charter fleet. Based in Switzerland, the G550 will be fully managed by Jet Aviation and flown under its Swiss Air Operators Certificate.

The aircraft offers ample space for 14 passengers. At night, Jet Aviation can adjust the cabin configuration to create five sleeping births. The ultra-long-range aircraft can fly for up to nearly 14 hours.
