Avcard, which claims to be the most widely used and accepted aviation credit card in the world, recently added the approximately 50 Shell Canada Aviation locations to its list of merchants who accept the card. Testing of the new acceptance procedures took place early last month and all Shell Canada Aviation locations are fully capable of Avcard electronic acceptance now. “This new agreement extends electronic acceptance to a very important and growing market for Avcard cardholders,” said Warren Boin Jr., Avcard vice president of marketing and business development. “Over the last few years Avcard has seen transaction volumes increase significantly throughout Canada and this will make using the card more convenient for both the cardholders and the Shell Canada FBOs,” he said.
